These terms and conditions apply to all delivery services provided by VIA Courier and to your use of this website. By booking a delivery with us, you agree to these terms.
Our services
VIA Courier provides express, same day, and scheduled delivery services. Service availability, pricing, and delivery windows are confirmed at the time of booking. Quotes are estimates until confirmed by our dispatch team.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and delivery information, including any access instructions.
- Package items appropriately for transport. Items must be sealed and labelled before pickup.
- Ensure that the contents of every shipment are lawful to transport.
Prohibited items
We do not carry hazardous materials, illegal goods, weapons, live animals, or any item that requires a licence we do not hold. If you are unsure whether we can carry something, ask before booking.
Delivery and proof of delivery
A delivery is complete when the shipment is handed to the recipient or to a person authorized to accept it, confirmed by a signature and a timestamped photograph. If a recipient is unavailable, we will follow the delivery instructions provided at booking or contact you for direction.
Liability and claims
Shipments are handled with care and are covered while in our possession. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the declared value of the shipment agreed at booking. Claims must be reported to us in writing within seven days of the delivery date, with reasonable supporting detail.
Cancellations
Bookings may be cancelled without charge before a driver has been dispatched. Once a driver is en route, a cancellation fee may apply to cover the cost of the attendance.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to all new bookings. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
